Check out these pics from 1962/63 of the Worlds First Indoor drag racing meet staged by the Chicago Auto Racing Club. Held inside the Chicago International Amphitheatre, the event saw all kinds of cool Hot Rods and Customs screaming down the inside of the building. Imagine the sound! Imagine the smell! Imagine trying to get that happening today...
